The Central Reserve Police Force came into existence as Crown epresentative’s Police on 27th July 1939. It became the Central Reserve Police Force on enactment of the CRPF Act on 28th December 1949. It has completed 60 years of glorious history. The Force has grown into a big organization with 207 Bn, (including 181 executive Bns, 2 Mahila Bns, 10 RAF Bns, 6 CoBRA Bns, 2 DM (NDRF) Bns, 5 Signal Bns and 1 Special Duty Group), 37 Group Centres, 11 Training Institutions.

Job Details :Applications are invited for the following posts at CRPF.
Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) (ASI – Steno)
Total vacancies : 103 (UR-38, OBC-27, SC-22, ST-16)
Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs. 2800/-
Age Limit : 18-25 years.

Head Constable (Ministerial) (HC – Ministerial)
Total vacancies : 273 (UR-18, OBC-22, SC-8, ST-120, Departmental – 74, Ex-Serviceman -31),
Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2400/-
Age Limit: 18-25 years.

Educational Qualification L:Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent passed from a recognized university.
