GURU NANAK DEV UNIVERSITY, AMRITSAR recruits BCA/B.Sc(IT)/B.Sc candidate for Junior Data Entry Operators post

GURU NANAK DEV UNIVERSITY, AMRITSAR Applications are invited for the following posts on the prescribed in GNDU Amritsar on contract basis for 3 years  application form so as to reach this office latest by 22-09-2010.

The application form may be obtained either personally from the Cashier, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar on payment of Rs. 100/-, at the Counter OR by post from the Assistant Registrar (General) by making a written request accompanied by a self addressed stamped (worth Rs. 10/- ) envelope of 23×10 cms. alongwith a Demand Draft for Rs. 100/-, drawn in favour of the ‘REGISTRAR, GURU NANAK DEV UNIVERSITY’ payable at Amritsar.
Applications are invited for the following post:

Clerk-cum-Junior Data Entry Operators : 25 posts (UR -13, Ex-servicemen-1, Sportsperson-1,  Handicapped Person-1, SCs- 6 (Other SCs – 5, Ex-servicemen SC– 1), BCs- 3 (Other BCs-2, Ex-servicemen BC-1)), Pay: Rs. 7000/- p.m. fixed

Qualifications:
1. BCA/B.Sc(IT)/B.Sc. Computer Science/ B.Sc. Economics or B.A/B.Sc. or any other examination equivalent thereto, with Computer Science as an elective subject, with atleast 50% marks.
OR
Graduate with 50% marks and PGDCA from GNDU or equivalent thereto.
2. Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric standard.
