Mode of Appointments :

For the posts of Deputy Registrars, Assistant Registrars, Assistant Executive Engineer
and Medical Officer on regular basis, or on standard deputation terms, and for all other posts- on regular basis/
deputation/ contract basis for 5 years (likely to be confirmed, subject to noteworthy performance)

Age :

For Group A Posts (Sl No.01) preferably below 50 years and Posts (Sl. No. 02 to 04) preferably below 45 years,
Group-B Posts ( Sl. No. 05 & 06) – 18 to 32 years and Group- C Posts (Sl No. 07 & 08) – 18 to 27 years. The
age will be calculated on the closing date for receipt of applications. Relaxation in age would be admissible as per
Central Government Rules. Regular employees of IITs who are educationally qualified and otherwise eligible can
be considered for the recruitment across the whole IIT system up to a maximum of 50 years of age.
