Staff Selection Commission Is Conducting the Stenographer Grade-C and Grade-D Examination-2010 on 26/09/2010, for the recruitment of Stenographer Grade-C and Grade-D posts 12th pass candidate can apply for this exam till 16/07/2010 (5PM) (23/07/2010 for the candidates of far-flung areas)
Stenographer Grade-C and Grade-D
Pay Scale: Stenographer Grade ‘C’ ( Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted ) in Pay Band 2 plus Grade Pay as admissible and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ (Group ‘C’ Non-Technical) in Pay Band 1 plus Grade Pay as admissible in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices.
Age: Min 18 years & Max 27 years as on 16/07/2010. Relaxation in age as per rules.
A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Rs. 100/-. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women and Ex-Serviceman. Fee will be paid only in the form of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)” These stamps are available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country.
