Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay invites applications from B.E / B.Tech Candidates for the following temporary posts for a period of three years. The selected candidates may be considered for appointment on a permanent basis subject to an assessment. Junior Technical Superintendent in the Office of the Dean (IPS)

• No. of Vacancies : 02 (UR)
• Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/
• Educational Qualification : The candidate must be B.E./B.Tech. (Electronics/Instrumentation) OR B.Sc. in Electronics/Instrumentation/Physics major with two years work experience.
• Desirable : Require expertise/hands on work experience with current multimedia facilities. Both operational and maintenance related work experience is essential. Nature of tasks will be hardware oriented. Additional supervisory tasks may also be assigned as per necessity.
• Age Limit : 32 years

Junior Technical Superintendent in the Aerospace Engg.Deptt.

• Number of Vacancies : 02 (UR)
• Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/
• Educational Qualification : The candidate must be B.E./B.Tech. (Mechanical Engg.).
• Desirable : Require hands on experience with a wide range of HVAC equipment. Both operational &  maintenance related work experience is essential. Nature of tasks will involve maintenance/supervision of air-conditioning plants &  other essential jobs as per the demands of the section.
• Age Limit : 32 years

Junior Technical Superintendent in the Deptt. of Biosciences & Bio Engineering.

• Number of Vacancies : 01
  
• Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/
• Educational Qualification : The candidate must be M.Sc. Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences,Biotechnology with some relevant.
  
• Age Limit : 32 years

Junior Superintendent

• Number of Vacancies : 10
• Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/
• Educational Qualification: Masters degree or Bachelors degree with 2 years relevant experience & Knowledge of Computer Office applications & Secretarial practices.
• Desirable Qualification: Five years relevant experience or two years of supervisory work in office of Govt./ Autonomous bodies or recognized educational Institutes.
• Age Limit: 32 years

Application Fees : Fees in the form of Demand Draft of Rs. 50/- (No application fee for SC/ST/PH & Woman candidates) drawn in favour of Registrar, IIT Bombay payable on SBI, Powai, Mumbai.
